Marchers spent the night in Ducor and headed towards Porterville, 12.5 miles north. In the afternoon, they passed through Terra Bella before stopping at Porterville College. When they reached downtown Porterville, a crowd of 150 people, along with a band, greeted them. A meeting and rally took place at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, followed by a potluck dinner in Murray Park. Marchers spent the night in homes or sleeping outdoors. (Go to Day 3)
